Wonderland Low Sensory Exhibition Visits
About the low sensory visit
This is an opportunity for people with autism or sensory sensitivities to view our Wonderland exhibition in a low-sensory environment.
During these sessions there will be a dedicated 'quiet zone', lowered sound and light stimulation, and fewer visitors in the exhibition at once.
Download our social script developed in consultation with Amaze to help plan for your visit to ACMI.
Holders of a valid Carer's Card can receive a free ticket with purchase of at least one ticket. To access these tickets please contact the Tickets and Information desk in person, or via phone on 03 8663 2583.
For more information, please contact Public.Programs@acmi.net.au.
About the exhibition
Fall down the rabbit hole into Wonderland, a world premiere exhibition celebrating the timeless stories of Lewis Carroll and Alice’s adventures on screen.
From first gracing the page in 1865, Alice has delighted audiences and inspired artists across generations. In more than 40 cinematic odysseys, she has epitomised the best in animation, been an arthouse icon and a blockbuster success.
Alongside her journey through pop culture, Wonderland explores how filmmaking, special effects and technology have reimagined one of the world’s most beloved characters.
