Picture Me: A Model's Diary
Teen model Sara Ziff and then boyfriend filmmaker Ole Schell originally set out to record her rise to the big time of fashion modelling.
Over five years, Ole followed Sara from New York to Milan, Paris and back again, documenting the life of Sara and many of her fellow young models. Sobering and at times confronting, models speak about the realities of working in an unregulated industry.
Sara shares the limelight and camera with many modelling colleagues, including Catriona Balfe, Sena Cech Oliver, Missy Rayder, Katia Kokoreva, Diana Dondoe and Cameron Russell who each have their own words of wisdom about the industry.
Fashion designer Nicole Miller and legendary photographer Gilles Bensimon also contribute to this groundbreaking documentary.
"One of the best films about the world of modelling and an honest portrayal of an industry built on artifice" The Observer
Best Picture (Audience Award) and Best Fashion Film, 2009 Milan International Film Festival
