The Exorcist
The seminal 70s horror film by Wiliam Friedkin with Linda Blair as the possessed 'problem teen'.

The justly influential The Exorcist, cannily revised in 2000, is among the most remarkable, daring films of the 70s. William Friedkin is the master of modernist shock, fragmentation and disorientation. Many interpretations of this religious horror tale are suggested, but all return to the potent taboo figure of Regan, a sexualised, rebellious female child. More than a tale of Good and Evil, the film shows an entire society in hysterical convulsion.
