A major highlight in Melbourne's arts calendar, the Festival of Jewish Cinema is now in its 16th year.
Featuring films from around the globe, the 2005 festival celebrates the diversity of Jewish Culture through a wonderfully eclectic range of features and documentaries - including many Australian Premieres.
Highlights include Radu Mihaileanu's Live and Become, hailed as the best film to come out of Israel, and Lajos Koltai's Fateless, an extraordinary film that is destined to be remembered as one of the truly great films about the Holocaust.
