Eric McCormack (Will & Grace) stars in a faithfully rendered, retro sci-fi adventure directed by The X Files' R.W. Goodwin (whose producer credits appear on more than 100 episodes of the ground-breaking show).
Drawing inspiration from sci-fi classics including It Came From Outer Space (1953) and War of the Worlds (1953), Goodwin's spot-on homage pits local astronomer Ted (McCormick) against an extra-terrestrial unicellular amphipod with a thing for slime.
Australian Jenni Baird (All Saints, The 4400) makes her U.S. feature film debut alongside Dan Lauria (The Wonder Years), Robert Patrick (Terminator 2) and Jody Thompson (Stargate).
