The 13 Roses (La 13 rosas)Set during the period of the Spanish Civil War, The 13 Roses is based on a true story of thirteen ordinary women unjustly accused for participating in the riots and rebellions against Franco.
The women were condemned without any evidence of their guilt and experienced cruel treatment in prison and finally, execution.
