Alex (Robert Pugh), a failed English actor living a solitary life and Bruno (Nuno Lopes) a reclusive young locksmith, share an obsession for Irene (Rita Loureiro), who has a passion for life that they lack.

When Irene disappears, the two men embark on a quest to find her.
