Porfirio
Blurring the lines between documentary and fiction filmmaking,
Porfirio tells the true story of Porfirio Aldana, (played by himself) a man left paralysed and wheelchair-bound after a terrorist attack in Colombia.
After receiving no compensation or government support, he decides to take matters into his own hands. A failed attempt to hijack a plane sees him imprisoned in his home, where he must overcome his physical limitations to expand his mind and soul.
