Created by Michael Ouweleen and Erik Richter, and hilariously scripted by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, Harvey Birdman files motions, cross-examines witnesses and occasionally blasts opposing counsel with solar rays.
Following an ecstatic reception at the Ottawa International Animation Festival, ACMI will screen six hilarious episodes from this animated series.
Once a third-rate superhero, Harvey Birdman endeavours to get justice for his famous clients (including the likes of Shaggy, Scooby, Velma, Fred Flintstone, Yogi and Boo Boo).
It's not clear whether Harvey actually went to law school, but he definitely knows how to sound like a lawyer. And he has a suit now, that's for sure.
