In this lavish and colourful feature version of Gerry Anderson's 60s puppet TV series, the Tracy clan valiantly battle a scurrilous villain named The Hood.
The International Rescue Team, comprising millionaire ex-astronaut Jeff Tracy and his sons, Virgil, John, Scott, Alan and Gordon, is assisted by Lady Penelope (as a backup agent with a gadget-laden, hot-pink Rolls) and Tin-Tin.
Like Batman, the Thunderbirds' access to wealth and a plethora of technological props and accoutrements assists in elevating them to 'super' status.
