Modding and Game School - great ways into the Video Game Industry!
To be a video game developer it is essential that you love dissecting games. Modifying (modding) games, and learning game creation are two great ways to clearly see the pieces that make up a game. And they are fun too.

In this forum Damian Scott will discuss video game modification or 'modding' focusing on his work as a prominent Mod developer over the last 7 years. Cheryl Kiraly will talk you through her experience studying and graduating from the Academy of Interactive Entertainment in Canberra in 2004 working as Lead Programmer for the game Roach Rage, which won an award at AGDC for Best Unsigned Game (Indie) Runner Up.
