'game on' interactive forum

The ABC Game On website is receiving 270, 000 accesses a week!

Meet the creators behind the highly successful Film Victoria/ABC New Media Game On initiative. These leading young Australian animators will talk about their innovative game designs and their careers. This is an opportunity for secondary and tertiary multimedia, arts and media students to:

  • investigate the interactive design process with the creators
  • discover their backgrounds
  • explore your future in the industry
  • and get answers to your questions in the Q&A.

The overall scope of the sessions is to provide information to students and teachers on creating interactives. There will be a focus on Macromedia Flash, as it is an industry leader and the tool used to create the Game On interactives.

Referencing their games on the big screen, each speaker will demonstrate their in-depth knowledge and expertise with animation and interactives. Students and teachers will gain an insight into how to design, develop, program and deliver interactives.

It is highly recommended that you have used the Game On interactives before you attend. They can be found at
