In celebration of Game On, we asked you to pitch us a movie idea based on a game - to cast your actors and your director, and to perhaps even create a poster for it. We have received many fabulous pitches and after much deliberation, our judges have decided on a winner.
The movie based on a game that we'd most like to see is...
Pong - The Movie
Based on: Pong
Director: Robert Rodriguez and Gareth Jones
Starring:
Mathew Hayden, Ben Affleck, Sarah Jessica Parker
Matthew Hayden stars as Left Paddle, a stiff pixelated line living life on the edge of the screen. Ben Affleck co-stars as Right Paddle, Left Paddle's evil twin brother, who was separated from his brother at birth and brought up on the wrong side of the screen.
Between these two warring brothers bounces the love interest, SJP, who constantly rebounds between them, playing them against each other. She causes the tension between them to rise until one day, she disappears off the screen in a rush. Without her, the brothers have to work together to stay alive...
James Earl Jones Guest stars as the voice of the BEEP.
