To The Ship
This triptych of three separate stories organically connected through the main character (played by the director himself) charts the journey of a villager who comes down from the mountains to the city and sets sail for Australia.

Damianos' 'auteur' film, created outside the Greek studio system was part of a wave that lead to the emergence of the New Greek Cinema.
