Kermit goes to Hollywood - along with his team of like-minded individuals, including Muppet favourites Fozzie Bear, Miss Piggy and Gonzo.
The songs are wonderful, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem lay claim to the title of Coolest Rock Band in History, and the film ends on a surprisingly existential note.
The small screen characters translate wonderfully to the 'widescreen' environment, which provides considerably more air for this oddball community to breathe.
