In the seaside village of Vanimo, Papua New Guinea, the first national surf competition is about to take place.
For the surfers of the village, this is a unique opportunity to gain entrance into the national team and kick-start tourism for the community. However, deep-set tribal rivalries and enmity between the sexes starts to hinder community progress days before the competition.
As the countdown begins, it is unclear if the competition will actually take place. Will the athletes manage to cast aside their differences?
