Directed by Catherine Hill

September, 1988. Evan Ridley's father is dying after a long illness. As his father grows weak, a shadowy black dog begins to haunt Evan.

On Evan's seventeenth birthday, cool neighbour, Peter Bell takes him under his wing, introducing him to the nightclub scene. The club, Industry, becomes Evan's salvation, a retreat from home and VCE.

Once a dag, Evan is now in with Matthew Rodgers, the coolest boy in school. He meets Anita and gets a job promoting the clubs. But the black dog won't go away.

During this lazy summer Evan must face up to life, death and the decisions of the future.
