Fancy yourself a film connoisseur? ACMI is giving five young critics the opportunity to discuss the art of film criticism with the one and only David Stratton, one of the most experienced critics in the business.
Since arriving in Australia as a "10 pound Pom", David Stratton has earned a formidable reputation as a connoisseur and champion of cinema.
A former Director of the Sydney Film Festival and Variety
film critic, David has been President of the International Critics Jury at the Cannes and Venice film festivals, has written two books and currently lectures in Film History at the University of Sydney.
How to enter
In 50 words or less, write a review of your favourite film. Send this, along with your date of birth and a photo of you in 'film critic' mode to firstname.lastname@example.org

To enter, you must be between 13 and 20 years of age as of 1 June 2011 and have a serious passion for film, as demonstrated by your review. David will select the five lucky Future Film Critics with whom he will share - over afternoon tea - his experience and advice, providing insight into the art of the film review for the next generation of cinephiles.
