After several attempts, Johnnie To's long awaited and highly anticipated crime film was released in 2003 and gained official selection at that year's Berlin Film Festival.
Unfolding over a single night, the film follows a group from the Police Tactical Unit - the elite division of Hong Kong's police force - as they frantically try to recover a colleague's missing gun.
