Donate today to re/build your new moving image museum in the heart of Melbourne.
Our world has changed dramatically in the face of coronavirus, as each of us increasingly watches, plays, and engages with the creative work of our screen industries. Twelve months ago, we closed our doors to undergo our biggest transformation yet and with work continuing behind the scenes, we're getting closer to being able to share our new museum with you.
We will reopen our new building to present exhibitions that unpack how costumes, sets, characters and worlds are made; screen films you won’t see anywhere else; and deliver education programs that provide windows into new careers for the next generation.
At this time when screens are keeping us connected, it feels more important than ever to be working towards a new ACMI that will promote, preserve and present the best of screen culture.
Why we need your support
We have achieved over three quarters of our fundraising target, however in order to complete this $40 million project, we must raise a further $1.5 million to make our vision a reality.
If you are in position to do so, please consider making a tax-deductible donation today to support ACMI to redevelop our museum and reopen safely.

While we get ready to reopen, we want to give you the chance to name or dedicate a seat in our world-class cinemas.
For a $2,000 donation, you can dedicate your seat or pledge it to a loved one – you can even honour your favourite director or line from a film with a short, customised message. For more info click below:
