The Muppet Christmas CarolMichael Caine, surrounded by a legion of Muppets, plays it straight as the crotchety Ebenezer Scrooge, an old miser who couldn't care less about Christmas, in this adaptation of Dickens' classic story.
Working for the skinflint is Bob Cratchit (Kermit the Frog), who begs Scrooge for a holiday on Christmas Day. Scrooge reluctantly agrees and goes home on Christmas Eve filled with bile at the festive merrymakers. But when he is visited by the spirits of Christmas Past, Present, and Future, Scrooge is forced to face his sorrowful past and its consequences.
Now an ACMI annual event, The Muppet Christmas Carol will delight audiences of all ages...Merry Christmas.
