Oh Dae-su, drugged, kidnapped and kept imprisoned for 15 years in a makeshift cell, is now released equipped with money, a phone and clothes. A trail of lies and deception follow as he seeks revenge on those that murdered his wife and destroyed his life.

Park Chan-wook's original wild cinematic cult classic is known worldwide for its pure brutality. Based on a Japanese manga and soon to be remade by Hollywood, witness the story of a man (masterfully played by Choi Min-sik) who trains his mind and body in order to seek vengeance.

Winner of the Grand Prix at the 57th Cannes Film Festival, Oldboy is the film that earned Korean cinema its extreme label.
