War of the Arrows (Choejongbyeonggi hwal)
Set during the second Manchu Invasion of Korea, Nam-yi, a young archer, is hunting deer in the mountains when his village is demolished by invading forces. His sister, Ja-in, and her fiancé, Seo-goon, are taken hostage by the fearless Manchurian warrior Jushinta, leaving Nam-yi to avenge his village and family in a war of arrows.
