The Tango of My Life (El tango de mi vida)
This heart-warming documentary follows a collection of performers as they compete in an amateur tango-singing contest.
The contest is organised by Fernando, the owner of a restaurant in a poor barrio of Buenos Aires. From sixty entrants, eighteen finalists are chosen: a grandmother, a teenager, a housewife, a lawyer, an astrologer, a chicken merchant and an assortment of eccentric characters.
Complete with passion, tension and nerves, the contest progresses until only three finalists remain to perform the tango of their lives.
