Voces Inocentes
Based on the childhood experiences of screenwriter Oscar Torres, Innocent Voices is a deeply moving portrait of the human cost of El Salvador's 1980s civil war.

With his mother Kella (Leonor Varela) and two siblings, eleven-year-old Chava (Carlos Padilla) lives in a makeshift village surrounded by the war.

As his twelfth birthday approaches, Chava is forced to decide between forced conscription by the US sponsored right-wing army or to join the leftist guerrillas.
