Twin sisters Margarita and Ramona de Saá grew up in 1950s Havana where they rose to become prominent ballerinas in the National Ballet of Cuba.
Once inseparable, their different political views forced them apart for more than forty years when Margarita left for the US with her American husband while Ramona embraced the Castro-led Cuban revolution.
After wrestling for years with the pain of separation, Margarita finally decides to return to her homeland and her sister.
