When Walter Salles directed
The Motorcycle Diaries with actors Gael Garcia Bernal and Rodrigo de la Serna in 2002, Italian journalist Gianni Mina collaborated on the script and decided to make a documentary about the making of the film.
To spice things up he took with him the surviving member of the original motorcycle trip fifty years earlier, Alberto Granado, repeating the journey and shooting film in the exact same locations.
This is a vivid and passionate chronicle of Granado's memories and a unique look at the legacy of Che Guevara.
