Film It! Making Films in the Classroom is a practical one day multimedia workshop for middle years teachers.

Learn how your students can produce simple live action films based on the Victorian Essential Learning Standards (VELS) drawing together the three strands and supporting student growth across domains.

This workshop explores practical ideas for managing film productions in the classroom. Participants will work together in teams to produce short films learning all aspects of basic film production.

Skills covered in the workshop include:

  • scripting and storyboarding

  • camera techniques

  • acting and design

  • sound and lighting

  • editing and post-production.

Film It! Making Films in the Classroom is a highly practical learning experience designed for participants who have little or no previous experience in film production.
