With international guests and heaps of highlight screenings, this full day (with two breaks) surveys the latest and greatest in Machinima.

Paul Marino (Director of the Machinima Film Festival and Executive Director of the Academy of Machinima Arts and Sciences) presents a screening of the Festival winners including the hilarious The Adventures of Bill & John: Danger Attacks at Dawn and Male Restroom Etiquette.

Eddo Stern, Chris Dodds and Paul Marino examine the unique cultural context of machinima generated within Massively Multiplayer Online games.

Lisa Dethridge, author of Writing your Screenplay and a script editor for Chopper, chairs a discussion on writing for machinima. Eddo Stern and Jessica Hutchins present their work with alternative computer games: looking at the politics of hacking and modifying including their work Darkgame and the machinima Landlord Vigilante.
