The Cup
Buddhism is their philosophy. Soccer is their religion.

Prayer, discipline, tradition ... are the ways of the Tibetan Monks. But a group of young monks discover a new favorite ritual ... football.

The young monks, led by Orgyen, a mischievous novice, try to persuade the elder monks to rent a satellite, to watch two civilised nations fighting over a ball!

Directed by a Tibetan Lama, Khyentse Norbu, The Cup was the first film to be made in Bhutan. This is a film for anyone who has ever been passionate about sports or life!
