Tuesday 21 June - Sunday 26 June 2005
ACMI hosts Australia's biggest ever animation event, with over 200 animated films from more than 30 countries.
International highlights for MIAF 2005 include the Melbourne premiere of the Academy Award-winning
Ryan by Chris Landreth, a film inspired by maverick, homeless, Canadian filmmaker Ryan Larkin, and
Lorenzo, a new Disney short that is remarkably un-Disney.
This animation mega-event features the ever-popular Australian Panorama program, a special showcase of remarkable animation produced in ex-Eastern Bloc countries, the return of Kids Animation, animated documentary programs, a new dedicated Music Video animation showcase and a hilarious collection of Bill Plympton works, curated by the irreverant master himself.
Pick up the full printed program or find out more at the
MIAF website.
