from the ashes: stories from the gippsland bush fires

Created in our Digital Storytelling workshops, this award-winning project was developed as an integral part of the Gippsland community and LaTrobe City Council's Bushfire Recovery Program. Participants shared their personal experiences of the bushfires that swept through remote areas of Toongabbie, Cowwar and Buchan in December 2006 to help them come to terms with this traumatic event.

Delivered in partnership with Latrobe City Council and Arts Victoria, via the Victorian Cultural Network.
