We all have stories about the events, people and places in our lives. Many of us keep photographs and memorabilia to remind us of special people or moments. The digital storytelling program at ACMI works by teaching you how to weave these elements together in a story that you write and narrate to create a living memory.

Digital stories are such unique and personal documents that the decision to share them in the memory grid is an entirely voluntary act of generosity by participants in the program.

How can you get involved?

Anyone can make a digital story by participating in the program - visit digital storytelling to find out more about the workshops or visit the explore section to watch some stories.

At the end of each digital storytelling session, the tutors of the class may ask the authors of those stories that they think are appropriate, if they would like to submit a work to the digital storytelling collection.

If you have a digital story to submit you need to read the submission guidelines and provide the submission form below with your work.
