Marc Jacobs

Director Loïc Prigent turns his camera on Louis Vuitton creative director Marc Jacobs just in time for the birth of the handbag to beat all handbags - made up entirely of earlier Vuitton handbags!
After following Karl Lagerfeld for
The House of Chanel documentary, Prigent captures the tensions and toil as four people strive to bring into reality Jacobs' (almost) impossible dream.
There to marvel at the work is a roll call of fashionable identities, including actor and muse Sofia Coppola, owner of the LVMH group Bernard Arnault, Vogue editors Anna Wintour and André Leon Talley, as well as business partner Robert Duffy who recognised Jacobs' genius at his graduation show at the Parsons' School of Design in 1984.
All four screenings will be introduced by fashion blogger extraordinaire BryanBoy, who will reveal the bag Marc Jacobs created in his honour. BryanBoy is a special guest of Melbourne Spring Fashion Week.
