Ever walked past that place up the street and noticed something extraordinary and beautiful? No one experiences 'place' in the same way and any one location can have many moods and stories. Now ACMI has created an online space for you to upload and share your captured moment - just the way you see it.
15 Second Place is our new website and App for iPhone. The challenge is to create and upload 15 seconds of video using your hand-held device. With just a mobile phone, you can become diarist, reporter and documenter of your city, 24 hours a day.
All footage uploaded to 15 Second Place is geolocated and tagged with a time so you can see what Melbourne looks like from any angle; at night or first thing in the morning. Share your 15 second vision and contribute to a collective online experience of 'place'.
Put your filmmaking skills to the test by entering our monthly challenge competition for the chance to win some great prizes. Each month, we'll release a new challenge with monthly and overall winners drawn in September 2012.
