Too cool for school
The Enchanted Party
Chill out at ACMI these school holidays.
The Yo Gabba Gabba! DVD's scratched, there's Play-Doh smudged in the carpet, Barbie's missing an arm and one of your kids tried to eat the Leggo. They don't call this the 'silly season' for nothing.
For a stress-free school holiday period, bring your kids - no matter what their age - into ACMI. Send them down to Dreams Come True: The Art of Disney's Classic Fairy Tales where the Kids Trail will keep them occupied for hours - or at least until they get hungry (a kids meal at the ACMI Lounge should take care of that).
Small fry can join Princess Lila and Princess Blossom at an Enchanted Party filled with craft, games and even dancing. Older kids can join our three-day Make a Movie: Heroes, Heroines and Villains workshop where they'll work in groups to write, direct, star in and edit their own short live-action films using our super-duper, state-of-the-art facilities (even Spielberg was a kid once).
If you're tired of listening to your child warble their way through 'Eye of the Tiger' on PlayStation's Sing Star '80s, sign them up for our Kids in the Studio Musicalia extravaganza, combining cutting-edge green screen technology with the old fashioned magic of the musical.
And if all the ankle-biters want to do is eat popcorn, candy and watch movies, our summer Kids' Flicks program - starring Snow White, Beauty (and the Beast) and free screenings of Hans Christian Ansersen and Brothers Grimm-inspired fairy tales- is sure to please. All the fun and madness starts now. Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?
