Let your hair down...

Conan the Barbarian
...and enjoy an action-packed week of Game On celebrations
Keen to see a movie that's not Kung Fu Panda or Sex and the City? Wondering how you're going to get your fill of action with no footy in Melbourne? Well, we're here to help! This weekend (sadly) kicks off the last week of Game On and we're marking the occasion with a feast of activities. Haul out those sweatbands and your best John McEnroe impersonation ('You cannot be serious!') for Saturday's Nintendo Wii Sports Tennis Championships at Federation Square Plaza. Entry is free and you'll have a chance to score some great prizes (and bragging rights!). Then on Sunday it's time to release your inner kingpin and compete in the Nintendo Wii Bowling Championships. Passive types can bury themselves in the cosy warmth of the cinema at our Feast of Fury 24 hour movie marathon. From cult classics like John Milius' Conan the Barbarian, to Australian premieres of Chong-Won Park's Paradise Villa and Uwe Boll's Postal, the marathon highlights the intersections between videogames and film. And, of course, our Game On exhibition - which just racked up its 100,000th visitor - will be open every day until July 13. So get in before it's game over; unlike Arnie, it won't be back!
