victoria's new cultural experience
At the launch of Culture Victoria (CV)
Culture Victoria (CV) is the new leading online resource to explore Victoria's rich and diverse arts and cultural treasures, providing access to stories, artworks and hidden gems from Victoria's great arts and cultural collections.
Relive memories of Moomba, hear the tales of migrants or get up close to objects from Australian television history. CV brings together the contents of Victoria's museums, galleries and cultural institutions in a way never seen before.
Launched in October, CV is part of the Victorian Cultural Network (VCN), a new initiative linking ACMI with five of Victoria's key cultural organisations: Federation Square, Museum Victoria, National Gallery of Victoria, State Library of Victoria, and the Arts Centre.
Over the next twelve months, the VCN will provide links to five metro-regional organisations: Bendigo Art Gallery, Geelong Performing Arts Centre, Koorie Heritage Trust, Mildura Arts Centre and Warrigal Library.
There's now a new way to search, learn and discover the world of Victoria's culture. Find out for yourself at http://cv.vic.gov.au/

WIN a private tour Ever wondered what it's like to stand on the centre stage of the Arts Centre? Or what about having a behind the scenes tour of the Museum?
To celebrate the launch of CV, five lucky families have the chance to experience a private tour in one of CV's participating venues.
Visit CV at http://cv.vic.gov.au/ to ensure you have a chance to win.
