You won't need a wardrobe to get to Narnia this summer. ACMI will transport you there with the latest technology.

To coincide with ACMIs current exhibition Setting The Scene, we are holding free holiday activities inviting families to engage interactively with film production design, the craft which creates cinematic worlds..

For two weeks only, kids can be 'transported' to Narnia, the fantastical world created by C.S. Lewis and adapted by Disney for the big screen in The Chonicles of Narnia Prince Caspian.

Make Your Own Chronicles of Narnia uses green screen technology and ACMIs state-of-the-art Studio to allow visitors into the world of Narnia joining characters Peter, Susan, Edmund, Lucy - and of course, Prince Caspian.

The Make Your Own Chonicles of Narnia workshops are a fun way for families to engage with Setting the Scene. Kids will learn about production design, discover how visual effects are created and how green-screen technology works to project characters into created worlds.

Setting The Scene continues the experience with an exhibit devoted to the production design behind The Chonicles of Narnia Prince Caspian, created by Oscar-nominated Australian production designer Roger Ford and featuring photographs, a model and video clips.

Make Your Own Chronicles of Narnia starts Monday 12 January and runs for two weeks, each weekday from 12 - 4pm. No bookings required. Simply dress up, drop in and let ACMI and your imagination take you to Narnia.
