Winners: William Erasmus & Keith Squire, Wantirna College
In an awards ceremony this morning we announced the winners of Screen It, ACMI's national moving image competition for primary and secondary school students.
Entrants were invited to submit a moving image work in categories including film, games and animation incorporating this year's signature item - a remote control.
Each work was judged by a panel of industry experts according to criteria such as creative merit, technical difficulty and stylistic elements.

The winning students receive cash prizes and their works are exhibited in the Memory Grid and Games Lab, two of ACMI's unique exhibition spaces.
ACMI began the Screen It competition in 2004, as part of its commitment to exploring and developing moving image and screen culture. "Screen It is a fun and stimulating way of engaging students with the moving image while teaching them the creative and technical processes that are at work" Brett McLennan, ACMI Screen Education Manager.
