other collections

As well as the Lending Collection, ACMI holds over one thousand 16mm and 35mm feature films, including material formerly held by the French Embassy and Chinese Consultate, as well as a number of classic Russian features and other key works of world cinema.

Borrowing is restricted to educational institutions, cultural organisations, government departments, and community groups such as film societies, as many of the films in the collection cannot be replaced.
