The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert

Brashly scripted, The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert features outrageous costumes and a high-camp soundtrack.

Writer-director Stephan Elliott follows an aging transvestite (Terence Stamp) and two drag queens (Guy Pearce, Hugo Weaving) as they snap, snarl and struggle their way from Sydney (Australia's gay heartland) to Alice Springs to perform a cabaret show.
