Summer of SecretsFollowing on from his ground breaking cult phenomenon, The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975), director Jim Sharman returned to Australia to make this little seen curio.
At first glance the film's plot reads as a retread of Rocky Horror, minus the tunes.
A young couple picnicking on the beach come across an eccentric cross-dressing doctor who is involved with some bizarre experiments involving some very stressed out monkeys. Faster than you can say timewarp, the innocent couple are embroiled in the doctor's fiendish plans to reanimate his dead wife.
