Time To Leave
This delicately crafted 'masculine melodrama' set in modern day Paris, focuses on a self obsessed fashion photographer confronted with terminal illness.

Retreating within, Romain begins a process of paring back his life, revealing his illness only to his grandmother - touchingly played by screen legend Jeanne Moreau.

Dreamlike visions, edgy sexual encounters and Ozon's recurring motif of water all feature heavily in this mature and deeply touching depiction of loss, (the second instalment in a trilogy on mourning following Under the Sand).

Screened in Un Certain Regard, Cannes Film Festival
