Water Drops on Burning Rocks
Adapted from a play by Fassbinder, Ozon's captivating study of erotically-charged power struggles is a camp extravaganza, full of sex, dancing and high-wire melodrama!

Middle aged businessman, Leopold, and life with his young lover and servant, Franz, becomes complicated by the arrival of Franz's girlfriend Anna, (Ozon's muse, Ludivine Sagnier) and Leopold's ex-lover - the transsexual Vera.

Before long, the boundaries between gay and straight are broken down and an emotionally dangerous ménage à quatre is at play.

Screened in the Official Competition Berlin Film Festival. Imported 35mm print!
