Long Weekend
When a bickering suburban couple (played by John Hargreaves and Briony Behets) decide to go camping at a remote beach, they find themselves on the receiving end of Mother Nature's bad mood.

Shot in glorious Panavision - the same aspect ratio famously utilised by John Carpenter in Halloween - Long Weekend gradually racks up the dread as this hapless yuppie couple's holiday escalates from mild inconvenience to full-blown terror. New 35mm print.

Screens with David Elfick's To Shoot a Mad Dog - The Making of 'Mad Dog Morgan' (26 mins, Australia, 1976), a documentary that includes interviews with director Philippe Mora and a crazy Dennis Hopper.
