| The Trap Door |
This collection of politically sharp punk/anti-punk classics features members of the 'no wave' music scene (including Lydia Lunch and Pat Place) which flourished briefly - and somewhat antagonistically - alongside punk.
Owing much to the downtown NYC arts scene, these rarely screened films by Beth and Scott B, and Vivienne Dick, went on to influence Richard Kern and the Cinema of Transgression filmmakers, who themselves went on to inspire the likes of Gasper Noe and Larry Clark.
Running time 100 mins.
