This program of shorts celebrates the dancer next door. Includes Arna Bersaas' Waltz, Samantha Rebillet's Butterfly Man, Margaret Constantas' Brenin, Lena John's Oru Divasum and Martin Lund's Shall We Dance.

contemporary dance on screen

This program of international contemporary dance showcases the work of key international choreographers William Forsythe (with award-winning dance screen director Thierry de Mey), Pina Bausch and Alain Platel.


global shorts #03: the art of moving

Cutting edge editing techniques, projection, choreographed cameras and unlikely subjects combine to create poetic and challenging cinema in this program of short films.


dance documentaries

The ReelDance award-winner for Best Documentary screens with a film following the career of Josephine Baker and a panoramic view of Latino music and dance.


thank god it's friday

The Zoo is the hottest disco in town and on the night of a big dance contest a wild assortment of characters find themselves on the floor together.


kidreels

This truly international session is co-curated by ReelDance and Cinedans in Amsterdam for 3-11 year olds and features films from India, the Netherlands, UK and New Zealand.


reeldance awards 2008

The finalists in the ReelDance Awards for new Australian and New Zealand dance films including Rick Harvie's Morning Herd, Madeleine Hetherton's Shadow Play, Sean O'Brien's Dis-Oriental and more.


yamakasi - the samurai of the modern age
