Rock and Roll...Of Corse
Rock and Roll...Of Corse
For Henry Padovani circa 1976, a two week London trip from Corsica turned into a life-long affair with punk in its most dynamic period. From founding member of The Police to collaborator with The Clash, The Jam and a who's who of punk, this documentary looks at his extraordinary life and the scene of which he was a central part.

Through interviews with key participants, archival footage, concerts and photographs, Padovani's done and seen it all in his dedication to music and its power to unite and agitate. In it, we will sail back and forth between yesterday and today, between art and society, music and human adventure, memories and historical realities. As both a player and an observer, Henry Padovani is a witness from within.

Accompanied by a soundtrack from the likes of The Clash, The Who, The Pretenders, The Police and The Stranglers this film allows us to (re)live, even if for a few moments, a time that has changed the way we listen to music forever.

Join Henry and co-director Lionel Guedji for a Q&A after this one-off screening.
