Screen Worlds brings together rarely-seen footage, fascinating objects and interactive displays.
From gems of early film to unforgettable TV moments and the latest in digital lifestyle, the exhibition spans the diversity of entertainment and creativity that makes the moving image such a dominant cultural force.
Follow the development of the moving image, and discover the significant contribution of Australians to its story. Engage with spectacular interactive exhibits. Play classic and contemporary videogames. Celebrate the lives of prominent personalities and see their treasures.
Screen Worlds Orientation Tour
Daily at 11am and 2pm > Free
If you're not sure where to start your
Screen Worlds experience, our free guided orientation tour will help you on your way. Thirty minute tours are available for individuals and families. Tours operate on a first come first served basis, with a maximum of 20 people per tour. Groups (of more than 5) can contact ACMI Reception on 8663 2200 to organise a dedicated, private tour.
